Ambolo is one of Jávea’s many gems! Not easy to reach but well worth that effort. It is a beautiful pebbly bay with clear turquoise water surrounded by rocky outcrops. It is also an ideal spot for snorkelling. There are no facilities on the beach itself and, due to the steep climb, you will find mostly young people here. It is a nudist beach but you will see far fewer of them here in summer than in spring and autumn. Playa Ambolo is south of Cabo de la Nao.
Montañar
Montañar is a lovely beach located near the port. This is the locals’ favourite beach! The beach is surrounded by several nice beach bars/small bars where you can enjoy a snack and a drink.
Portitxol
Portitxol is a beautiful beach with insane views over the Mediterranean Sea. It is a pebble beach where you can enjoy peace and quiet. After sunbathing and swimming, you can enjoy a snack and drink in the shade at the restaurant. It is an ideal beach if you are looking for more peace and quiet.
